Fresh Flowers

At Kings Creek Flowers & Gifts, we are committed to delivering your important emotional sentiments on time and as fresh and beautiful as possible. Because of nature, seasonality, and regional availability of flowers, it is sometimes necessary to make substitutions of equal or greater value. We will make every effort to maintain the "look and feel" of the arrangement by considering the overall shape, size, style, and color combinations. In single-variety arrangements, the variety will take precedence over color. For instance, if an order is for yellow daisies, they will substitute another color of daisies, not another yellow flower. White roses and cream roses may be substituted for each other, as well as peach roses and pink roses. Purple and pink orchids may need to be substituted for white orchids and vice versa.

Balloons

Some hospitals do not allow latex balloons without an arrangement. Mylar balloons may need to be substituted for latex balloons on some orders.

Plants

For green and blooming plants, similar plants may be substituted for equal or greater value. For one of-a-kind plants, such as orchids, we will make every attempt to match the plant type but may substitute with another color. Containers for plants will be as close as possible.

Gift Baskets

Substitutions within a basket may be made with items of greater or equal value if necessary to guarantee freshness and timely delivery.

Special Occasions

Due to the importance of delivering orders for special occasions, such as funerals, birthdays, and anniversaries, on specific days, we may make a substitution of equal or greater value to ensure timely delivery, if the flowers you requested are not available, and we are not able to contact you via the phone number(s) or email address you provided us.

In some instances, our photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated.

Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers and/or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you’ve selected, we will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal value or higher value.

If any design elements are of major importance to your order, please include them in the florist instructions at checkout or contact us to ensure availability.

Delivery Policy

Delivery Policy

Occasionally, floral substitutions are necessary due to temporary, regional availability issues. If this is the case with the gift you’ve selected, our experienced florists will ensure that the style and theme of your arrangement is preserved and will substitute only fresh flowers of equal or higher value. We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee them. The customer takes full responsibility that the recipient the information given is complete and correct. If there is a delay in the delivery due to incorrect or incomplete information (including door code) provided by the customer, the order will not be refunded. During extreme weather conditions, we cannot guarantee that your order will be delivered on time and the date. If we fail to deliver your order, the order will be delivered as soon as possible. Please be advised that we are unable to cancel or change any orders already delivered or presently en route to delivery. If you find it necessary to cancel or change delivery dates or addresses for any other orders, simply call our shop directly. We are also unable to accept cancellations or change requests via e-mail. If, for any reason, you are not happy with the service rendered or with the flowers delivered, please contact us so we can solve it as soon as possible.

Ordering During Holidays

Our store and delivery hours may vary for major holidays. To help ensure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least one or two days before the following holidays:

Same Day Delivery

If you order before 2:00 pm in the recipient's time zone, we can typically deliver the flowers the same day, Monday through Friday. For orders outside of our local delivery area, we may require the order to be placed by 12:00 pm for same-day delivery. For same-day service on Saturday, please arrange it for 12:00 pm.

Specific Times

We are unable to guarantee delivery at a specific time, but we are normally able to deliver within four hours for orders. You may request a time frame in the special instruction box when ordering, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Delivery Times

Normal delivery times are 9 am-5 pm daily for orders going to a business, 6 pm for orders to a residence, hotel, or hospital, and 2 pm for orders going to a high school. During major holidays such as Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, we operate extended hours, and delivery times are 8 am-8 pm.

Funeral Homes

These orders are our very highest priority. If you have ordered too late to make the funeral service, we will call to let you know quickly so that you can make other arrangements or have something sent to the home of the family. If you do not know the zip code or exact address of the funeral home, we will look it up for you. We normally contact the funeral home anyway to verify the time of the viewing and make arrangements for the flower delivery. If you have selected a delivery date that is before the actual viewing, we will deliver the viewing with the funeral home instructions. If you have ordered a funeral viewing on Sunday and it is too late to deliver on Saturday or Sunday, we will contact the funeral home to verify that there is a viewing or service on Monday and reschedule the order.

Banner Funeral Arrangements

Due to the time-sensitivity of delivering funeral orders, if a banner is not available, we will fill your order to value, substituting the banner with more flowers for an even fuller arrangement.

High Schools: High Schools, Middle Schools, and Elementary Schools

do not accept deliveries for students. Please send teachers’ gifts to the high school and any student orders to their residences. Orders to high schools should be placed early because they usually must be received by 2 pm.

Weekend Delivery Policy

If we are unable to arrange delivery on Sunday and time permits, we will set up for delivery on Saturday, including birthdays and Anniversaries. If Saturday or Sunday is not available, then the order will be scheduled for Monday, and we will inform you of the rescheduling (you will be contacted first before rescheduling a Birthday or Anniversary gift for Monday).

P.O. Boxes

We are unable to deliver flowers to a P.O. Box or an A.P.O. address.

If No One is Home

Depending on the delivery location, if the recipient is not available at the delivery time, the delivery person may leave the gift in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve when they return, such as with a neighbor, or leave a message for the recipient to call to arrange for delivery.

Incorrect Addresses

If the recipient's address is incorrect and delivery was attempted to the address, there is a $12.00 address correction fee. Kings Creek Flowers & Gifts is not responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses submitted to us by the customer. If such a delivery is made, the customer assumes responsibility for the entire purchase.

Canceling an Order

Same-day orders are processed immediately and usually cannot be changed. Due to the urgent nature of florist-delivered products, we are unable to cancel or change orders already in process at the florist, en route, or delivered. To cancel or change an order that has not been processed, please call (305) 595- 4048 or (786) 227-6129.

Recipient May Be Contacted

In some cases, the florist may contact the recipient to ensure s/he will be home to accept the delivery.

Request to Leave Item at Door

The customer assumes all liability for requests to leave arrangements. We highly discourage special instructions requesting delivery to a doorstep, porch, yard or any location where the recipient cannot accept the arrangement themselves. Kings Creek Flowers & Gifts cannot be held responsible for missing our faulty product due to this special request.

Recipient Refusal of Delivery

If the recipient refuses to accept a delivery, you may be held fully liable for the cost of the gift.

Card Messages

The message that you write in the Card Message field is the message that is sent with the gift. We do not include any billing information with your order.

Refund Policy

We accept returns within 1 days of delivery. We also offer exchanges — please contact us to arrange your return or exchange.

Refunds are processed immediately. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
